Instead of calling the office for routine refills, patients need to 

call the pharmacy directly

and ask them to fax us a refill request to 770-638-1402.

Of course, controlled substances prescriptions will still need to be picked up in hand at the office with Dr. Kim's signature and DEA stamp.  Three month documented office visits are often required by the DEA for controlled prescriptions.

Don't wait until the last minute!  Refill requests can take up to 24 hours for turn around.  Be prepared and watch your medication refills carefully. 

 If you must leave a message for a Rx at our office, please do the following:

*  Say your name clearly, including your date of birth and phone number.

*  Say your pharmacy clearly with their phone number and their fax number.

*Call the pharmacy first after a reasonable amount of time,  to see if the prescription has been processed or refilled.

*  Dr. Kim may be faxed a prescription authorization request from the pharmacist to respond to and then document the Rx in the patient's chart.
